Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in senior engineering leadership positions (VP, Director, or CTO) within a SaaS environment.
- Strong infrastructure expertise, including operating large-scale distributed systems and production Kubernetes.
- Experience managing and optimizing infrastructure unit economics.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce AI tooling into engineering workflows.
- Proven experience transforming engineering teams and establishing sustainable delivery speed improvements.
- Experience owning or leading an ongoing SaaS security and compliance program (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Strong understanding of high-performance web products, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.
- Business-oriented mindset connecting engineering to revenue and strategy.
- Hands-on technical leadership capability.
- Experience coaching and developing senior engineering talent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall technology vision, roadmap, and engineering strategy.
- Lead the transformation toward a high-velocity, product-focused engineering organization.
- Introduce and scale AI-assisted development tools and practices.
- Own architecture and infrastructure decisions with a holistic approach to total cost of ownership.
- Oversee a multi-region, Kubernetes-based production environment.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure economics and unit costs.
- Own security and compliance as an ongoing operational program.
- Guide and mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership.
- Strengthen DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
- Own the complete R&D budget and financial forecasting.
