Strong infrastructure background with large-scale distributed systems.
Proven experience running production Kubernetes environments.
Demonstrated ability to embed AI tooling into engineering workflows.
Experience transforming engineering teams to improve delivery speed.
Direct experience owning SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security and compliance programs.
Ability to manage R&D budgets including personnel, infrastructure, and vendors.
Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, and robust monitoring systems.
Strong communication skills for executive and board-level reporting.
Hands-on technical capability to contribute directly to team reviews and planning.

Own the technology vision, roadmap, and engineering strategy, aligning work with business objectives.
Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools and own the associated quality standards.
Drive architecture and infrastructure decisions with a focus on total cost of ownership and engineering velocity.
Manage a multi-region, Kubernetes-based render fleet to ensure efficiency, reliability, and security.
Maintain high software quality, performance, and security standards.
Oversee security and compliance programs, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications.
Mentor and grow the engineering team while fostering a culture of ownership and inclusion.
Partner with the CEO and leadership to align engineering capacity with customer needs and company strategy.
