Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software quality assurance experience.
- Demonstrated success leading quality initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, client-server architecture, and system dependencies.
- Hands-on experience testing native or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and backend services.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java).
- Experience developing or improving test automation frameworks and integrating into CI/CD workflows.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing (WCAG) and tools like Axe or Lighthouse.
- Experience with defect tracking and test-management tools, such as Jira, in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to establish quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Analyze business requirements, architecture, and dependencies to develop comprehensive, risk-based test strategies.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications across various platforms and conditions.
- Define and advance test automation standards, including integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Test REST APIs and backend services for correctness, reliability, and resilience.
- Evaluate web and mobile applications against accessibility standards like WCAG.
- Mentor team members to strengthen quality practices and shared ownership of quality.
