Requirements
- 8+ years as a software engineer, including 4+ years managing a team of 8+ and handling hiring.
- Proven experience shipping AI features (RAG, agentic workflows) to production.
- Strong product taste and ability to critique product quality effectively.
- Hands-on experience building in production with Claude Code and Cursor.
- Solid technical background with experience as a senior or principal engineer prior to management.
- Experience building from zero to one or scaling a team in a startup environment.
- Excellent written communication skills for a remote-first culture.
- Ability to work in the CET/CEST timezone and based in EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Ship meaningful AI-powered features directly alongside the engineering team.
- Optimize software development processes to improve cycle time and code quality.
- Manage and scale the engineering team, including full ownership of the hiring process.
- Conduct technical reviews, design reviews, and performance conversations.
- Define and enforce engineering standards for testing, security, and bug management.
- Collaborate with founders to shape product roadmap and execution strategy.
