Requirements
- Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably 10 years in progressively responsible roles.
- Experience in cultural resource management in the desert southwest and intermountain west.
- Familiarity with NHPA (Section 106 and 110) and NEPA compliance.
- Proficiency with modern GPS technology and ability to work in remote locations.
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, development, and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (preferred).
- Permitted or able to be permitted in TX or throughout the Midwest (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead cultural resources projects and business development opportunities.
- Manage archaeological and historic resources projects, including field studies and staff supervision.
- Direct technical and strategy elements of proposal development including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with clients, agency representatives, and Tribal entities.
- Perform archaeological fieldwork, surveys, monitoring, testing, and data recovery.
- Support compliance with Section 106 and 110 of the NHPA and NEPA reporting.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in staff management and budget tracking.
