Requirements
- Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience, preferably ten (10) years in cultural resource positions.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in project planning, development, and management.
- Familiarity with modern GPS technology and ability to use it in remote locations.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and professional writing skills.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision and handle simultaneous tasks.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and post-employment drug and alcohol tests.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (preferred).
- Permitted or able to be permitted in Oregon, Washington, and/or Idaho (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead cultural resources projects, business development opportunities and provide successful and independent management of archaeological and historic resources projects.
- Lead technical and strategy elements of proposal development including scope, schedule and budget.
- Coordinate with clients and company colleagues in the development of work in the region.
- Perform archaeological fieldwork, surveys, monitoring, testing, data recovery, and report preparation.
- Support Section 106 and Section 110 of the NHPA, including analysis and technical studies.
- Supervise and mentor junior or temporary level cultural resource personnel.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality technical products through independent and quality review protocols.
