Requirements
- 5+ years of experience independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to communicate complex terms clearly.
- Sound judgment when operating in ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions autonomously within leadership-defined parameters.
- Strong prioritization skills for managing a demanding caseload.
- Proven business acumen and commercial judgment.
- Track record of building trusted cross-functional and customer relationships.
- Comfortable operating with urgency in a fast-moving environment.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude) to drive contract efficiency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word (redlining functions) and Zoom.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for customers and vendors.
- Document findings to build a long-term knowledge management system.
- Develop processes to increase contracting efficiency, including self-serve options.
- Support legal functions in compliance, customer success, and employment matters.
- Partner with the sales team to negotiate and close deals at pace.
