Job Details

Juris Doctor degree with active bar membership in the United States or Canada.
At least 10 years of relevant legal experience.
Experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
Experience in late-stage private or public company environments.
Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and negotiations.
Deep knowledge of corporate governance, securities laws, and public company compliance.
Experience advising on international expansion and subsidiary structures.
Experience managing external counsel and complex, cross-functional legal projects.
Excellent judgment and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to legal workflows.

Lead legal workstreams for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiations, and transaction documentation.
Advise senior stakeholders on corporate governance, securities, entity management, and public company compliance.
Support international expansion by advising on subsidiary formation and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Finance on insurance renewals, tax planning, financial statements, and employee equity programs.
Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and external legal counsel.
Oversee the intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
Develop and deliver compliance training across the organization.
