Requirements
- Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
- 1-5 years' post-qualification experience (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of relevant consumer business, online platform and/or health care legal experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal experience in one of key European target markets (France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy).
- Experience advising an international technology business operating across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience with privacy, regulatory/government inquiries, and marketing/advertising law is highly desirable.
- UK or Ireland qualification is preferred; EU-qualified lawyers encouraged to apply.
- Ability to operate independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Egoless approach and strong commitment to collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a wide variety of legal issues related to international business expansion and existing operations.
- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements including partnership, sales, marketing, SaaS, and vendor contracts.
- Support privacy compliance across non-US markets, including GDPR and local equivalents.
- Advise on marketing, consumer protection, and trade practices requirements in international markets.
- Support health and telehealth regulatory compliance in relevant jurisdictions.
- Oversee international employment and contractor legal matters.
- Manage outside counsel and coordinate on litigation or regulatory inquiries.
