Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Ability to lead a team of developers in building complex software solutions.
- Proven ability to take the product through all stages of development from concept to launch.
- Expert-level knowledge of Java, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise with all aspects of SDLC including code reviews, unit testing, automation testing and CI/CD.
- Experience with system design.
- Expertise in making step-function improvements in performance and scale of platforms.
- Business acumen - able to leverage the platform to solve business problems.
- Experience with dev tools like Splunk, Datadog, Mixpanel, LaunchDarkly etc.
- Experience leveraging Gen AI technologies to accelerate software engineering by designing prompts, rigorously evaluating outputs, and integrating LLMs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable products for the BILL business payment network.
- Build, maintain, enhance, and scale deep two-way synchronization solutions between BILL payment platform/network and major accounting software products.
- Lead a team of developers in building complex software solutions.
- Take products through all stages of development from concept to launch.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Improve user experience by 10x and build new microservices in AWS.
