Proven experience owning a double-entry ledger in production (building, migrating, or accountability).
Deep understanding of moving real money on real rails (ACH, RTP, FedNow, wires).
Expertise in database design, specifically SQL and relational databases under high load.
Strong understanding of API-native concepts including webhooks, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
Experience building real things with AI such as agents, MCP servers, or internal tooling.
Proficiency in Python and AWS.
Strong product-owner mindset with an ability to simplify complex financial flows.
Demonstrated restraint in avoiding overengineering.
Strong plus: Proficiency in React and TypeScript for full-stack financial surface development.
Ability to explain and defend technical modeling decisions.

Build and maintain the ledger system including entries, lines, balances, and audit trails.
Manage money movement rails including ACH, instant payment rails, wires, and stablecoin settlement.
Design and implement automated reconciliation systems to catch discrepancies and manage exception queues.
Develop lending infrastructure covering the full lifecycle from disbursement to repayment.
Define risk posture and settings for high-value flows such as holds, limits, and settlement windows.
Collaborate across Finance, Risk, Operations, and Support to explain financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Leverage AI to generate test cases, triage reconciliation exceptions, and automate integration tasks.
