Requirements
- Proven experience scaling or maturing a People Operations function through a growth phase, ideally 500 to 1,000 employees.
- Hands-on ownership of contracts, payroll coordination, visas, employee policies, and SOC 2-adjacent compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to set strategic vision while remaining comfortable with tactical, hands-on execution.
- Fluency in people analytics, with the ability to build and implement data capabilities in-house.
- Practical experience managing HRIS platforms such as HiBob.
- Proven track record of driving process automation within a People function.
- Strong sequencing judgment, ensuring processes and data are documented and consistent prior to automation.
- Must be based in Europe.
- Previous experience running or building a People Operations function at least once.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Own and rebuild the operating system behind the People function, focusing on hygiene, analytics, systems, and automation.
- Manage end-to-end employment contracts, payroll coordination, visas, and employee policies.
- Maintain SOC 2-related compliance processes to ensure they remain accurate and audit-ready.
- Centralize ownership of freelancer and contractor engagement approvals.
- Establish in-house people analytics capabilities to provide data-driven insights to leadership regarding attrition and org health.
- Own and evolve HRIS systems like HiBob and Mahana, ensuring clean data and scalable workflows.
- Automate repetitive People Ops tasks by partnering with workflow automation engineers to use n8n's internal product.
- Act as an onboarding liaison to welcome new hires and support their integration.
- Build and hire a small team of 2–3 specialists in analytics, automation, and systems.
