Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of formal Project Management experience working with large-size initiatives.
- 2+ years of experience in Change Management.
- 3+ years working in a managed care healthcare system or health plan.
- Experience working in Medicaid and/or Medicare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies preferred.
- Experience in a matrixed environment preferred.
- Experience with Smartsheet preferred.
- Prosci, Six Sigma, or Project Management Institute certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects using cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives.
- Manage the full project life cycle including assessment of requirements, creation of project plans, and budget management.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including project plans, risk management plans, action items, and issues lists.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
- Provide executive-level status reporting regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
- Define Statements of Work and specifications for Medicaid contracts and RFPs.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings to ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards.
