Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- At least 5 years of formal, related project management experience.
- Current PMP certification, or ability to obtain within 18 months.
- Experience managing complex projects including planning, execution, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with data-driven reporting experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Experience with project management software and methodologies.
- Agile or Scrum experience is a plus.
- Experience within an Enterprise PMO is preferred.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Planview PPM Pro, or Microsoft Project is an advantage.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale and complex projects from initiation and scope definition through planning, execution, implementation, and closure.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery remains on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations.
- Define project requirements, develop execution plans, coordinate resources, and ensure deliverables conform to established standards and methodologies.
- Lead project teams through scope, schedule, cost, and risk-related tradeoffs, making informed recommendations when priorities compete.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks while determining when issues require escalation to senior or executive management.
- Monitor project schedules and overall progress, adjust plans when necessary, and provide clear, data-driven status updates to leadership.
- Coach and mentor junior PMO project managers and functional project leads to strengthen project management capabilities.
- Use project management platforms to plan, organize, monitor, and report on activities across multiple departments.
