Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2-3 years of sales experience (floral industry experience a plus).
- Proven track record of entering a new industry and building a book of business.
- Successful track record of new lead generation and objection handling.
- Ability to close and manage relationships both in person and over the phone.
- Strong time management, communication, and execution skills.
- Proficiency in PC literacy: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Customer-obsessed mindset with a desire to achieve high satisfaction levels.
- Experience with customer retention and reactivating inactive customers is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business to build, grow, and service a portfolio of retail florists using Flowerbuyer.com.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calling to develop relationships with retail florists.
- Facilitate Microsoft Teams meetings to introduce products and savings to potential customers.
- Work with internal departments to provide custom solutions for Top Accounts.
- Utilize order entry, call tracking, and contact management software.
- Participate in ongoing sales, product, and process training.
- Meet and exceed daily telephone sales expectations.
