Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments.
- Experience hiring and leading a technical team of at least five people.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical executives.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of AI architecture (LLM orchestration, RAG, agents, evaluation, fine-tuning).
- Builder-first mindset with willingness to engage in production issues and hands-on challenges.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience scaling a startup or early-stage organization.
- Experience working within a services or consultancy model.
- Commitment to responsible AI practices (transparency, human oversight, privacy).
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for enterprise clients, serving as the senior technical authority on major engagements.
- Develop scalable delivery systems and processes, including discovery frameworks and reference architectures.
- Hire, lead, and develop the engineering organization, providing technical guidance and performance mentorship.
- Own platform and infrastructure direction, making critical build-versus-buy and security decisions.
- Shape AI technology strategy, focusing on LLM orchestration, RAG, agents, and fine-tuning.
- Engage with client executives to translate technical trade-offs into business decisions.
- Contribute hands-on to resolve production issues and support team delivery.
