Requirements
- Significant experience leading engineering teams with strong people leadership skills.
- Proven experience growing an engineering organization and managing organizational evolution.
- Experience managing and developing senior engineers, including performance management and career planning.
- Strong software engineering background with technical depth to review code and guide architecture.
- Experience connecting engineering investments to product outcomes such as customer growth and onboarding.
- Strong product instincts and the ability to work effectively with Product and Design partners.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
- Experience working in startup or high-growth technology environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Growth mindset, high integrity, and humility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow two engineering teams responsible for human onboarding and activation and agent-facing platform experiences.
- Own the engineering roadmap for the self-serve journey, covering initial discovery, onboarding, activation, monetization, and feature adoption.
- Drive development of agent-facing experiences through programmatic interfaces including APIs, SDKs, CLI tooling, and MCP integrations.
- Partner with Product and Design to align technical roadmaps with customer needs and growth objectives.
- Hire, coach, develop, and retain engineers while establishing performance management practices.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, design reviews, and hands-on contributions.
- Balance long-term platform scalability with iterative improvements to onboarding and activation.
