Requirements
- 11+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software.
- Relevant experience with production programming in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- 3+ years of experience building or managing large-scale services or developing agentic products.
- Strong technical leadership experience with distributed systems, large-scale services, and production software architectures.
- Experience designing, building, or integrating AI/ML-powered capabilities into production systems.
- Strong expertise in systems programming, ideally with Rust and Go.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale engineering organizations in high-growth environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate broad product objectives into clear technical direction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to mentor and influence senior and principal-level engineers.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute the technical roadmap for agentic experiences, aligning engineering priorities with product strategy and organizational objectives.
- Partner with organizational leaders to shape the AI product portfolio and lead initiatives designed for global scale.
- Lead and develop a team of senior engineers, fostering ownership, inclusion, and engineering excellence.
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent while managing performance.
- Translate product requirements and customer feedback into technical strategies, architectures, and delivery plans.
- Lead the development and operation of large-scale services with strong standards for security, reliability, scalability, and quality.
- Own incident response and reliability practices, ensuring production services meet defined SLOs.
- Oversee capacity planning and operational readiness to maintain performance and compliance as services scale.
- Promote engineering excellence through automation, tooling, testing, and operational practices.
- Facilitate cross-team communication and manage dependencies to ensure effective integration across products.
