Requirements
- Proven track record in a similar technology leadership role in building and scaling web and mobile app experiences.
- Deep understanding of software engineering, system architecture, and project management.
- Experience in overseeing digital solutions spanning customer accounts, transactions, personalization, and real-time data streams.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and processes to accelerate software development.
- Ability to contribute to executive-level strategic planning and build vs. buy recommendations.
- Experience in identifying and managing technical, staffing, and scope risks within an e-commerce context.
- Excellent client-facing skills with experience in vendor selection and management.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to mentor team members and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the work of software engineers and technical team members, ensuring high-quality outcomes in digital consumer-facing solutions.
- Define and manage high-level technical architecture and technology stacks, focusing on performance, scalability, and SEO/GEO optimization.
- Leverage AI tools, processes, and partnerships (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) to accelerate software development and deliver AI-enabled customer experiences.
- Champion composable architectures and platforms to create enterprise digital experience platforms.
- Provide expert strategic advice to client stakeholders and manage account growth.
- Mentor multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple delivery squads to ensure project deadlines and dependencies are met.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks to project success.
