Requirements
- 6+ years of application development experience.
- 2+ years managing a development team and leading delivery of custom software solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of at least one general-purpose programming language (Java, TypeScript, Ruby, or Python).
- Recent hands-on production development experience.
- Demonstrated technical and process leadership throughout the SDLC.
- Experience planning and delivering application initiatives, migrations, and upgrades.
- Experience managing integrations and data flows across third-party software platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) and cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Ability to manage resource allocation and strategic roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with leaders across Finance, HR, Legal, Customer Operations, Security, IT, and Data.
- Translate operational needs into clear technical requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Write and review production code while leading technical design for complex integrations.
- Establish and maintain technical standards, including architecture and code reviews.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of software developers through feedback and career planning.
- Own delivery of cross-functional initiatives, managing scope, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain disciplined release and change-management practices for business-critical systems.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools for development and workflow automation.
