Requirements
- 6+ years of application development experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing a development team and leading successful custom builds.
- Strong working knowledge of at least one general-purpose language such as Java, TypeScript, Ruby, or Python.
- Recent hands-on experience building production systems.
- Experience planning and furthering the professional growth of team members.
- Track record of providing technical and process guidance throughout delivery.
- Experience planning and delivering application projects such as migrations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Experience owning integrations and data flows across third-party software platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform) for automation in cloud environments.
- Experience with resource allocation and strategic roadmap development.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience applying AI tools to accelerate development and automate business workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with business leaders across Finance, HR, Legal, Customer Operations, Security, IT, and Data.
- Translate business operating pain into technical scope by challenging requests and proposing effective solutions.
- Contribute directly by writing/reviewing production code and leading design on complex integrations.
- Own the technical standard for the team through design and code reviews.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of developers, providing feedback and supporting their professional growth.
- Own the delivery of team commitments including scope, dependencies, and risk management.
- Maintain release and change discipline with audit-ready controls and deployment strategies.
