Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 months of relevant experience (academic coursework, projects, or internships).
- Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as C or C++.
- General knowledge of embedded systems, digital ASIC design, and software or firmware development is an asset.
- Experience with embedded software development on ARM, RISC-V, or x86 is preferred.
- Scripting experience with Python or TCL is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of executable software models that simulate IP and SoC hardware.
- Support architectural exploration and pre-silicon firmware development and validation through accurate and effective system simulation models.
- Work alongside experienced engineers to investigate and resolve complex software, hardware, and debugging challenges.
- Participate in infrastructure development supporting simulation, modeling, testing, and validation activities.
- Apply software development and testing methodologies to create reliable and maintainable solutions.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with engineering stakeholders on simulation-related challenges and requirements.
- Learn and apply industry-standard and emerging technologies, tools, and engineering processes.
- Contribute to projects involving integrated circuit design and test, from custom design modules through broader SoC development.
