Requirements
- Several years of experience operating production SaaS systems on directly administered Linux servers.
- Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose for production workloads.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning, connection pooling, and backup/restore configuration.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience managing infrastructure through IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
- Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, or Sentry.
- Knowledge of security fundamentals including IAM, least privilege, secrets management, and patch management.
- Understanding of RAG systems and LLM serving trade-offs.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Ability to work with high autonomy and lead technical improvements independently.
Responsibilities
- Operate and evolve self-administered Linux systems including containers, networks, and API gateways.
- Improve Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD workflows, automated checks, and deployment processes.
- Manage PostgreSQL performance, backups, and recovery procedures.
- Develop and maintain a self-hosted observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerting.
- Strengthen infrastructure security through IAM, secrets management, TLS, and vulnerability scanning.
- Implement technical controls for ISO 27001 compliance.
- Evaluate and integrate model inference providers to optimize for latency, throughput, and cost.
- Establish runbooks and incident response protocols to improve system resilience.
