Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating data platforms.
- Experience designing data pipelines as distributed systems.
- Production transformation-framework experience such as dbt.
- Hands-on cloud warehouse experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Production reliability experience.
- Experience building customer-facing analytics.
- Experience owning data systems from zero to one.
Responsibilities
- Own data infrastructure, pipelines, modeling, analytics, and governance.
- Build semantic layers, event-driven data products, and embedded analytics.
- Operate cloud data systems and participate in on-call incident response.
- Develop streaming and knowledge-management capabilities.
- Evaluate tools and keep the platform adaptable.
- Balance new initiatives with ongoing stakeholder needs.
