Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another quantitative discipline.
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or another highly analytical finance environment.
- Advanced experience in financial modeling and forecasting, including the ability to build scalable models for planning and scenario analysis.
- Proven experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable business insights.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations and effective cross-functional partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience using financial reporting or business intelligence systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic view of broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned growth areas, supporting strategic planning, investment decisions, and ongoing business performance management.
- Own revenue and operating expense forecasts, continuously improving forecasting accuracy and methodologies.
- Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models for scenario planning, pricing analysis, investment decisions, and new business initiatives.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs to identify emerging risks, opportunities, performance trends, and potential areas for improvement.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and support data-driven decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, resource allocation, and financial performance through analytical insights and process improvements.
- Translate complex financial concepts and findings into clear recommendations for non-financial stakeholders and senior business leaders.
- Improve reporting processes, analytical tools, forecasting approaches, and financial planning workflows to strengthen decision support and operational efficiency.
