Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in as many of the following states as possible: NY, CA, IL, FL, MO, KY, RI.
- CA and compact licenses are highly preferred.
- Triage and Critical Care experience required.
- At least one year of Charge Nurse/Clinical Management/Leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to learn and proficiently use multiple EMRs and various communication applications.
- EPIC proficiency preferred.
- Must be comfortable with the virtual use of continuous and episodic vital sign monitoring devices.
- Ability to work from home in a HIPAA compliant environment is required.
- Confident leadership and evidence-based decision making skills.
- Professional and effective communication style.
- Ability to deliver training and education clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to handle patient escalations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of virtual nurses while fostering a culture of kindness, teamwork and compassion.
- Mentor and provide support to new hires including shadow and reverse shadow sessions, and onboarding training support.
- Provide day to day clinical support and assist with continued education for all nurses.
- Assist Clinical and Operations Leadership with scheduling, quality, and training needs to ensure we are following standard practices and meeting all client program needs.
- Ensure daily duties are carried out by assigned team of nurses; address performance through coaching or documentation as needed.
- Engage with Clinical Leadership, Compliance, and People Team concerning patient or staff concerns.
- Review resumes, interview and assist in building a team of quality, patient care focused nurses who will deliver high standards of care.
- Assist in the implementation of changes to our programs and procedures.
- Special projects and other assignments as needed.
