Requirements
- 4-5 years experience in insurance
- Must have a current P&C insurance license
- Commercial Insurance sales experience
- Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or account management
- Ability to prospect, follow up consistently, and manage a sales pipeline
- Strong sales skills with the ability to analyze customer needs
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Comfortable networking within the local community
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Manage a pipeline of current and potential new commercial accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
- Stay current on DOI regulations and agency compliance requirements.
