Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience working with Linux.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Python, R, Scala, C++, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with front-end development using React, Angular, or another JavaScript framework.
- Strong understanding of RESTful architecture, API design principles, JSON, and XML.
- Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Hands-on experience with data flow and pipeline technologies such as Kafka, NiFi, Spark, or RabbitMQ.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of the relationship between hardware and software applications.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain responsive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate Agile software development activities supporting enterprise archive systems.
- Maintain and enhance software used to ingest, preserve, manage, and deliver environmental data.
- Manage change requests and coordinate the deployment of software changes across multiple environments.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain front-end functionality using React, Angular, or other JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and work with RESTful APIs and structured data formats including JSON and XML.
- Support data flows and processing pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, NiFi, Spark, and RabbitMQ.
