Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance, international development, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in business development, fundraising, or investor relations.
- Familiarity with alternative investment products, including emerging markets private debt or evergreen funds.
- Ability to learn and clearly communicate investment and impact strategies to diverse investors.
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective engagement with management and clients.
- Understanding of and passion for impact investing or international development.
Responsibilities
- Expand and execute on fundraising efforts for financial institutions investment strategies.
- Raise capital from a diverse set of investors including foundations, family offices, and HNWIs.
- Prepare pitch decks, teasers, and due diligence materials.
- Manage all stages of the sales cycle from initial targeting to closing.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences such as GIIN, SOCAP, and UN Climate Week.
- Maintain investor and prospect records in Salesforce.
- Provide insights into investor behavior and trends to influence product strategy.
