Requirements
- 2+ years designing UI or product experiences for a B2B product, ideally for engineers, DevOps, or platform teams.
- Ability to understand complex software engineering concepts.
- User-centric approach to design with a focus on specific user needs.
- Strong visual design sense and ability to execute clear, aesthetically pleasing UI.
- Willingness to learn highly technical subject matter and engage in independent experimentation.
- Strong communication skills for presenting work and defending design decisions.
- Experience designing for cloud providers, DevOps tools, Kubernetes, or infrastructure products is a plus.
- Experience in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver polished UI for the vCluster Platform, from early concept through pixel-perfect execution.
- Partner day-to-day with frontend engineers to scope and execute product design work.
- Maintain close collaboration with backend engineering to ensure technical feasibility.
- Conduct UX research and competitive analysis to understand user needs and impact.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to translate requirements into design direction.
- Work with Brand Designers to maintain consistent product visuals aligned with the brand identity.
