Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing products, ideally SaaS, creative tools, or productivity platforms.
- Strong background in traditional design principles including typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, motion, and states.
- Experience designing complex systems such as content platforms, dashboards, or multi-surface ecosystems.
- Comfortable with AI-assisted design workflows and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with front-end code or code-based prototyping (vibe coding).
- Strong understanding of user flows like activation, retention, and engagement.
- Ability to explain design decisions and handle challenges professionally.
- Portfolio showcasing end-to-end thinking and demonstrable results.
- Experience with AI-powered features such as generation, search, recommendations, or auto-tagging is a plus.
- Knowledge of video or content-production workflows is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prototype and test quickly using a mix of design, AI, and code-based tools.
- Get real prototypes in front of creators early to validate generative experiences.
- Use research and data to maintain focus on user creative processes.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, growth, and marketing teams from the start.
- Shape how creator assets and outputs are surfaced and reused through search, recommendations, and automation.
- Utilize and contribute to the Cascade design system.
- Define best practices for AI-native design within the product.
