Requirements
- 4–6 years of product marketing or closely related go-to-market experience in the observability space.
- Technical foundation: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
- Strong understanding of log analytics, retention, and ingest pipeline/parsing rules.
- Proven experience in end-to-end product launches, from positioning through post-launch measurement.
- Portfolio of messaging and content written for technical audiences or sales teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear narratives for practitioners and executives.
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Demand Gen teams.
- Data-driven mindset: experience using product usage and market data to prioritize work and measure impact.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain core positioning, messaging, and narrative for New Relic Logs across buyer personas.
- Own end-to-end Logs launches, including tiering, content, enablement, and launch metrics.
- Create pitch decks, narratives, discovery questions, and objection handling tools for sales teams.
- Develop technically accurate Logs differentiation and displacement plays in partnership with Competitive Intelligence.
- Serve as the product marketing voice on Logs pricing, packaging, and data retention economics.
- Produce solution briefs, blogs, webinars, demos, and reference architectures grounded in customer outcomes.
- Own the voice of the customer through market research and usage data to inform roadmap and segment priorities.
- Report on metrics including pipeline contribution, attach/adoption rates, and ingest growth.
