Requirements
- 3+ years of technology sales experience in a quota-carrying Mid-Market or Enterprise B2B SaaS role.
- Proven history of consistently achieving or exceeding quota with experience closing complex deals.
- Experience selling to private/independent schools, charter schools, or multi-campus education networks (preferred).
- Strong strategic account planning and opportunity-development skills.
- Proficiency in consultative selling, discovery, multi-threading, and business-case development.
- Understanding of budgeting, procurement, RFPs, funding, and contracting processes.
- Ability to build relationships with executive and senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and command of pipeline management and forecasting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Own your national private and charter school territory through strategic account planning, market research, account prioritization, and development of executive relationships.
- Identify and create new business opportunities within private and independent schools, faith-based and parochial schools, diocesan systems, charter schools, charter management organizations, and multi-campus school networks.
- Lead consultative discovery to uncover business priorities, challenges, desired outcomes, decision criteria, stakeholders, budget, and timing.
- Build and execute multi-threaded account strategies across executive, technical, curriculum, safety and security, finance, procurement, and school- or network-level stakeholders.
- Navigate complex procurement, RFP, legal, security, contracting, funding, board approval, and decision processes.
- Negotiate and close meaningful new business while maintaining ownership of the customer relationship and outcome.
- Maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline and accurately forecast opportunity risk, next steps, and expected outcomes.
