Requirements
- 4-6+ years of IT support experience, including as a senior or sole IT resource.
- 2-3 years of experience in a startup environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for device management.
- Experience with Google Workspace administration.
- Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) strategy and principles.
- Working knowledge of security fundamentals including endpoint protection, encryption, and patch management.
- Experience handling PHI in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash for automation.
- Ability to ship, receive, and store equipment at a home office.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in the United States, Eastern Time Zone.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation lead for Tier 1-3 technical support requests via ticketing systems.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including user training, account provisioning, and access control.
- Administer Microsoft Intune (MDM) and O365 for a remote, multi-OS device fleet.
- Drive identity and access management (IAM) strategy, including periodic access reviews and least-privilege enforcement.
- Build and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate IT workflows.
- Partner with the CISO on access-related security requests, audit evidence collection, and HIPAA controls.
- Handle physical logistics for company devices, including procurement, shipping, and inventory tracking.
