Requirements
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in FP&A or other financial operations roles.
- Direct experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and clinical program accruals.
- Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and communicating with executives.
- Experience applying AI and automation tools to financial analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through organizational change.
Responsibilities
- Drive company-wide financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with strategic insight.
- Serve as a dedicated FP&A partner to program teams and functional leaders to embed financial insight into day-to-day operations.
- Partner with senior leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities and drive disciplined investment and resource allocation decisions.
- Advance financial systems, reporting, and analytics to improve business accountability.
- Champion the adoption of AI and automation to streamline financial workflows and reporting.
- Conduct scenario analyses and risk/opportunity assessments to support corporate strategy.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the executive team.
- Support the accounting close process in partnership with the Accounting team.
