Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Business or HR.
  • 3-5 years of compensation and/or recognition experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using Workday (loading EIBs, testing configuration, and auditing).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Intermediate knowledge of provincial legislation Canada-wide, particularly pay equity and transparency.
  • Excellent analytical skills to distill large data sets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.
  • Bilingual FR/EN (Asset)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the annual warehouse compensation cycle, annual increases, and store bonuses.
  • Prepare, process, and forecast minimum wage increases for stores to ensure provincial compliance.
  • Serve as the Total Rewards Workday SME, managing configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct job evaluations to ensure roles are appropriately classified and market-aligned.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide competitive compensation recommendations for candidates.
  • Ensure accuracy of total rewards data through regular audits and analysis.
  • Provide oversight for employee recognition programs and equip leaders with recognition tools.
  • Create comprehensive compensation training resources to enhance business capability.
