Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business or HR.
- 3-5 years of compensation and/or recognition experience.
- 2+ years of experience using Workday (loading EIBs, testing configuration, and auditing).
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
- Intermediate knowledge of provincial legislation Canada-wide, particularly pay equity and transparency.
- Excellent analytical skills to distill large data sets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.
- Bilingual FR/EN (Asset)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the annual warehouse compensation cycle, annual increases, and store bonuses.
- Prepare, process, and forecast minimum wage increases for stores to ensure provincial compliance.
- Serve as the Total Rewards Workday SME, managing configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct job evaluations to ensure roles are appropriately classified and market-aligned.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide competitive compensation recommendations for candidates.
- Ensure accuracy of total rewards data through regular audits and analysis.
- Provide oversight for employee recognition programs and equip leaders with recognition tools.
- Create comprehensive compensation training resources to enhance business capability.
