Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of full-time experience in a security-focused role (AppSec, ProdSec, or cloud security).
- Comfortable reading and critiquing pull requests in a modern stack.
- Experience participating in or leading threat modeling exercises using frameworks like STRIDE.
- Working knowledge of cloud security posture and experience with CNAPP.
- Strong fundamentals: OWASP Top 10, authentication and authorization patterns, secrets management, and common cloud misconfigurations.
- Hands-on experience applying AI tooling to security or engineering work.
- Ability to write small tools to assist with security tasks.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling engagements on critical features and services.
- Partner with the ProdSec lead to evolve engagement practices.
- Own day-to-day triage of CNAPP findings end-to-end, investigating and routing to service owners.
- Contribute to SDLC tooling, SAST/SCA workflows, and bug bounty triage.
- Partner with product engineering teams to provide security reviews and guidance.
- Integrate AI tooling to accelerate triage, scan code, and reduce security toil.
- Improve security posture through documentation, office hours, and tooling improvements.
