Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Fluency in Go and TypeScript.
Experience with SvelteKit and React.
Proficiency with GraphQL APIs and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a multi-service environment.
Proven experience building end-user product features, specifically developer tools or AI/agent products.
Experience building interfaces for AI agents (e.g., MCP servers, agent SDKs, tool surfaces).
Strong technical background with the ability to provide guidance on architecture and trade-offs.
Hands-on experience using and reasoning about coding agents such as Amp, Claude Code, or Cursor.
Excellent async-first communication skills.
Experience partnering closely with Product and Design teams.

Responsibilities

Set technical and product direction for Code Plane products.
Drive roadmaps from initial concept to shipped product.
Tackle high-stakes technical problems hands-on across backend, frontend, and AI agent surfaces.
Mentor teammates and build high-trust relationships within the engineering team.
Partner with Product, Design, and Customer Engineering to incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
Join the team's on-call support rotation.
Architect and deliver reliable, scalable systems for cross-repository code changes.
