Job Details

5–8 years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient production code.
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, or experience in another backend language with an ability to ramp up quickly.
Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
Experience building and consuming APIs and integrations across service boundaries.
Fluency with AI-assisted development and a quality-conscious approach to AI tools.
Experience building API-driven automation workflows (e.g., Tines, n8n).
Solid debugging and optimization skills.
Strong grasp of SDLC processes and frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
Experience in a solutions engineering, implementation, or customer-facing technical capacity.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading projects.

Design and shape complex, cross-system integrations, including partner and alliance API integrations.
Define reusable templates, standards, and automation workflows to reduce recurring manual toil.
Perform root cause analysis on technical issues and drive architectural or process fixes.
Mentor team members, including those without a formal software engineering background, in coding and automation.
Partner with commercial, product, and engineering stakeholders to scope solutions and make technical trade-off decisions.
Navigate ambiguous technical challenges to scope requirements and create execution plans.
Identify and document risks, security concerns, and downstream impacts during discovery phases.
Participate in on-call rotation to triage and resolve issues.
