Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in planning and supply chain functions.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Expertise in MRP and MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence systems.
- Solid understanding of S&OP process.
- Strong analytical skills in forecasting and production planning.
- Demonstrated influencing, negotiating, and conflict management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaborative management skills.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certifications are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive inventory reduction to target levels through analysis and collaboration with the planning team.
- Ensure material availability for high on-time performance.
- Drive on-time delivery through analysis and collaboration with production operations at the fabrication site.
- Facilitate the weekly Material Review Board process.
- Manage recovery and communication related to customer backorders.
- Participate in cycle count and WIP floor inventory accuracy metrics.
- Develop standard work training documents and provide training on systems and supply chain functions.
- Apply scheduling concepts such as ABC, Kanban, Trigger Points, Min Max, Heijunka, and EOQ.
- Synchronize supply with department schedules in collaboration with material and network planners.
- Apply project management techniques to meet goals and objectives.
