Experience: 15+ years of experience in the software industry, including at least 3 years in an architecture-focused position.

At least 3 years in an architecture-focused position.
Extensive experience in data architecture and ownership of design decisions.
Strong expertise in data modeling, data governance, and analytics schema design.
Significant hands-on experience with Databricks or a Spark-based lakehouse platform.
Proficiency designing solutions with modern data-stack technologies, especially SQL and PySpark.
Practical experience using agentic AI in the development lifecycle.
Experience applying Generative AI to data workloads and analysis.
Demonstrated experience with developer enablement, mentorship, CI, and CD practices.
Strong analytical and communication skills for technical leadership.
Preferred: Experience architecting on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Preferred: Experience developing serverless workloads.
Advantageous: Knowledge of infrastructure security and data privacy requirements.

Define and drive the execution of a scalable, cloud-native target-state architecture.
Establish architectural patterns for automated, scalable, and reliable data ingestion.
Develop hands-on proof-of-concepts using SQL, PySpark, and serverless Python.
Promote reusable architectures and harmonized integrations to reduce technical debt.
Act as a subject-matter expert for data governance architecture and infrastructure security standards.
Partner with Product Management to shape application analytics strategies.
Evaluate and advise on emerging technologies and third-party applications.
Mentor engineers and promote architectural best practices and developer enablement.
Contribute to AI-powered and agentic development initiatives.
