Requirements
- Proven experience leading sales organizations and driving revenue growth within startup environments, particularly medical technology, healthcare AI, or other regulated healthcare markets.
- Demonstrated experience selling both laboratory-developed tests and medical software.
- Significant senior-level sales leadership and business development experience with a demonstrated record of commercial achievement.
- Experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing sales teams, including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to turn market intelligence and customer insights into practical commercial plans.
- Experience working within regulated healthcare environments and navigating operational constraints associated with medical products and technologies.
- Ability to understand and communicate product and scientific information effectively with sales teams, healthcare customers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience or substantial knowledge of breast cancer oncology and biomarkers is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national commercial and sales strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Build and maintain a focused national sales plan, establishing clear milestones, targets, lead metrics, and performance expectations.
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and development of new commercial opportunities.
- Establish effective sales processes, pipeline-management practices, account-management standards, and performance metrics.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing national sales team.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, customer relationships, and potential revenue streams.
- Translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations for product positioning, pricing, sales strategy, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with reimbursement, billing, operations, marketing, customer success, and clinical strategic partnerships to align commercial activities.
