Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform, analytics, or data product teams.
  • 5+ years of experience owning data or analytics products.
  • Proven success taking data products from discovery through launch and adoption.
  • Strong knowledge of canonical modeling, event design, and metrics architecture.
  • Deep familiarity with cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, ELT, and semantic layers.
  • Strong SQL skills for independent data exploration and quality assessment.
  • Experience partnering with data science and machine learning teams.
  • Working knowledge of data governance, access controls, and observability practices.
  • Ability to execute multi-quarter strategies and communicate trade-offs.
  • Strong delivery discipline, including estimation and milestone tracking.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team events.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the fulfillment data domain.
  • Own the canonical fulfillment lifecycle model, including events, entities, and relationships.
  • Establish and maintain metrics architecture across operational, geographic, and performance dimensions.
  • Design data products for multiple consumption paths, including self-service analytics and model-driven signals.
  • Ensure the data foundation reliably supports machine learning use cases like intelligent routing and risk scoring.
  • Break complex initiatives into manageable data-product units and manage dependencies and milestones.
  • Monitor cost and unit economics of data products while validating impact with business owners.
