Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Government Affairs, Health Policy, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in market access, reimbursement, health economics, healthcare consulting, government affairs, or public policy.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, including provincial and federal funding mechanisms.
- Understanding of pricing, reimbursement, and payer review processes within the medical device or life sciences sector.
- Experience developing or contributing to reimbursement submissions, value dossiers, or stakeholder communications.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret clinical, economic, and healthcare utilization data.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% within Canada, the United States, and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of Canadian market access and reimbursement strategies.
- Prepare and coordinate reimbursement submissions, funding applications, and value dossiers for public and private payers.
- Research and synthesize healthcare policy, funding, and reimbursement information to provide strategic business insights.
- Manage stakeholder engagement initiatives involving government representatives, clinicians, and patient advocacy groups.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and global stakeholders.
