Requirements
- 7+ years of prior experience in a customer-facing role working hands-on with distributed systems.
- Proficiency in developing and prototyping solutions in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and Javascript).
- Experience working with distributed systems such as Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, or Cassandra.
- Strong understanding of security technology including TLS, SASL, Kerberos, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Knowledge of major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) fundamentals.
- Proven ability to create blog content or documentation regarding production use cases.
- Outstanding consulting and relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Ansible is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to build new partner integrations, use cases, and automation capabilities.
- Share content and best practices with internal and external audiences.
- Partner with the Customer Success team to onboard new clients and drive excellence for existing ones.
- Design and implement production-ready streaming architectures meeting performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to solve customer challenges and improve product experience.
- Identify and resolve technical barriers to production readiness and performance optimization.
- Build reusable tooling, automation, and technical assets to improve the customer Redpanda experience.
