Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- 4-6 years of experience in public or private accounting.
- Experience serving healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based organizations.
- Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes (claims, revenue, reimbursement, capitation).
- Experience with state and federal funding compliance and program reporting.
- 3+ years managing associates and/or teams.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software including Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Bill.com.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
- Cost allocation and Single Audit experience preferred.
- Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and analyze benchmarking data and key performance indicators to support client insights.
- Present completed reporting packages and findings to clients.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
- Provide technical accounting support on complex issues.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Lead and coordinate US and offshore engagement team members.
- Coach staff and senior accountants on financial reporting matters.
