Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in a CPA firm, including experience working in an international CPA firm and supporting cross-border accounting engagements.
  • Hands-on experience managing month-end and year-end close, preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and completing reconciliations.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and internal controls.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience serving as a direct point of contact for clients and reviewing work from junior accountants.
  • Experience with Bill.com.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Professional proficiency in French.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned client portfolio and oversee the full accounting cycle from bookkeeping through month-end and year-end close.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, perform variance analysis, and deliver executive summaries with KPIs and improvement insights.
  • Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, intercompany, and accrual reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and technology tools to enhance efficiency and financial visibility.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations, support consolidation for multi-entity structures, and collaborate with tax teams to ensure accurate compliance support.
  • Support, coach, and review junior team members as needed.
