Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing platform or full-stack applications in JavaScript/TypeScript, with Next.js and React.
- Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries, common services, or internal platform components used by multiple engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway, including LUA scripting.
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD (Jenkins), and deployments on composable platforms such as Netlify or Vercel, in partnership with Infrastructure teams.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog), product analytics or experimentation platforms (e.g., Statsig and Amplitude), and performance measurement at scale.
- A creative, precise problem solver with a strong focus on building modern, scalable platform solutions.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort partnering with Infrastructure, SRE, and security stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain shared components, libraries, and common services using Next.js / TypeScript / CharkraUI, enabling Frontend teams to build and scale efficiently.
- Oversee and optimize Kong API Gateway services, including LUA scripting, and partner with Infrastructure on cloud deployments across AWS, Netlify, and Jenkins to ensure secure, reliable system performance.
- Build and support the mobile application ecosystem (React Native), ensuring platform reliability across customer-facing surfaces.
- Implement and improve monitoring and observability capabilities using Datadog to maintain system health, operational visibility, and incident response.
- Build and evolve the experimentation and analytics platform, enabling product teams to measure engagement, run experiments, and make data-informed decisions using tools such as Statsig and Amplitude.
- Drive performance metrics improvements across platform services and customer-facing surfaces, identifying bottlenecks and delivering optimizations that improve reliability and user experience at scale.
- Contribute to AI enablement across the platform, building shared tooling and patterns that help engineering teams integrate AI-powered capabilities safely and efficiently.
