Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a writer on technical proposals.
- 3-5 years of experience and knowledge of A|E|C industries, specifically Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) or Energy Performance Contracting.
- Experience leading proposal development in vertical markets such as Commercial/Industrial, Healthcare, Federal/State/Municipal Government, Higher Education, or Data Centers.
- Demonstrated ability to author technical solutions in at least three engineering or construction disciplines.
- Experience collaborating with a diverse team in a remote environment across multiple time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Workspace.
- Strong technical writing skills with a track record of creating clear, compelling documents.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Write technical proposal content for sustainable engineering projects.
- Author solutions for areas including mechanical/electrical engineering, HVAC, distributed energy, lighting, solar, or plumbing.
- Review and edit sections drafted by other contributors.
- Synthesize raw content from various sources into cohesive, comprehensive passages.
- Ensure final submissions are compliant with company standards.
