Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in analytics engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in a staff or senior individual contributor level setting technical direction.
- Extensive proficiency in SQL, advanced data modeling, and transformation.
- Deep expertise in dbt, including advanced patterns, macros, packages, and testing.
- Expert knowledge of modern data stack tools: Snowflake, dbt, and semantic/BI layers like Omni or Hex.
- Experience building Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) tables from multiple sources.
- Experience designing semantic models or metric layers for both human and AI consumption.
- Proven experience modeling GTM systems such as CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and agentic pipeline design.
- Proven track record of resolving complex cross-team data definitions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with analysts and stakeholders to build GTM decision models using HubSpot, DealHub, Apollo, and Clay data.
- Design and maintain semantic models for core SaaS metrics such as ARR, bookings, CAC, and win rates.
- Own the metrics certification framework, catalog, and governed definitions to ensure data trust.
- Define modeling standards and patterns for the analytics engineering team to follow.
- Integrate and instrument data models to surface failures or drift before stakeholder discovery.
- Develop internal AI agents and data-grounded tools for GTM stakeholders.
- Mentor analytics engineers and set the technical direction for analytics at the company.
